You know I never realized I would be techie enough to actually have to back up my files and reformat my computer. 10 years ago when I bought my first computer during my sophomore year in college, I thought I was buying the top of the line, state of the art, pumped up computer. Ten years later and that poor computer has been relegated to a position of abstract art installation piece entitled "dead technology. Though it still runs, it can no longer perform even the most basic of tasks (as it is running Windows 98). These days, I'm using a two year old lap top (which I purchased brand new) right before I started school. And once again I bought what I thought at the time was a pretty fancy computer with an 80 gig hard drive. A hard drive, i might add, I couldn't fathom filling. Now I find my poor old-new computer dying a little bit each moment as it quickly runs out of room. How can someone fill 75 gigs worth of hard-drive space in two years? How is this possible. Ah well this is why I bought a 160 gig portable hard drive. Also is it me or has anyone else discovered that every time Microsoft puts out a new version of Office it's so convoluted that it requires one to purchase more "how-to" computer books?
